"George Kostelis is passionate about goalkeeping, and it’s contagious. His students learn what it takes to succeed first hand from one of the top goalkeeper coaches in the country. His attention to detail in the fundamental technical skills is second to none. Students who train with George are renowned for maximizing their potential."

" . . . if my son or daughter was serious about the position, I can think of no one better than George. Dedication, desire and the highest of standards easily set George apart from his colleagues. He only demands from his players and students what he demands and expects from himself: Excellence. Whether you have the opportunity to work with George for one session or for several years, be prepared to experience full-throttle passion in action . . . and be prepared to develop into a top-flight goalkeeper and person. "George has been an integral part of my development as a goalkeeper throughout my entire career. His knowledge of the game and the position is excellent and he is able to convey that knowledge to all ages. As a younger goalkeeper, he gave me a strong technical base, and as I developed he taught me the tactical side of the game, as well. One of the things that I admire most in George is his mentality. The psychology of a goalkeeper is very different and he understands that. He knows how to get the most out of his goalkeepers in every situation. Overall, George has been a mentor, both on and off the field, and the most influential figure in my career."

"George is a passionate teacher with extraordinary communication skills. His understanding of the game and his own work ethic makes him an excellent role model for his students. Because of George, our son is as enthusiastic about his training sessions as he is about game play.
George’s intense training sessions are designed to develop technical and tactical skills that can be transferred to the playing field . This enables the student to critique himself fairly after a play is made, regardless of the outcome.
Our son has trained with George for 5 years. George is as knowledgeable and demanding as he is fair and upbeat. He is a wonderfully gifted teacher for all age groups and abilities. "

"Both my son and daughter have trained with George Kostelis over several years. The training was not easy as George pushed them both physically and mentally, but both loved working with him, his passion for the goalkeeper position and his concern about them as people. With George’s help both became strong technical and fundamentally sound goalkeepers with their own strong passions for the game enabling them to play soccer at the travel, premier, high school and college levels. For someone who is looking to become a serious goalkeeper, I would highly recommend George Kostelis as a trainer."

George Kostelis has been my daughter’s goalkeeper trainer for over eight years! He has guided my daughter in many facets of the game--mentally, physically and tactically which is essential to goalkeeping. Because of George’s expertise and ability, he is able to squeeze the absolute “most” out of every player he trains. Due to his training, my daughter continues to play at the college level. George’s professionalism, knowledge of the game and patience in the development of each player makes his training unique and gives them that extra “edge” that you won’t find elsewhere!

In the fall of 2007, our ten-year-old daughter began training with George Kostelis. George not only motivated her to perform to the best of her abilities on the playing field, but his positive attitude also improved her confidence, self-esteem, and team spirit off the field. George’s training sessions create a learning environment that is fun, yet challenging for all ability levels. He is always encouraging and enthusiastic and the individual attention and low student/instructor ratio is amazing. George has a way of connecting to his students; his coaching philosophy and passion for the game has attributed to an overall positive experience for our daughter. He not only teaches the fundamentals, but also focuses on the conditioning, strength, and mental aspects of the game, as well. Our daughter’s skills and enthusiasm for the game of soccer have improved significantly working with George and we look forward to continuing our relationship with him for many years to come.
